If you don’t have spectacular sales skills, then you will only be contributing money to the author’s bank account. This book especially works if you have “rain maker” sales skills.
If you have any questions regarding the above, then work as an associate for a mortgage company, and you will find out what I’m talking about.
The only negative about the book is that the author didn’t mention what I mentioned above! Why would he not mention the above? Hence, the three stars.

I was hoping for more insight in the business. The resource guide was helpful but a very basic book and would not recommend for someone who has already been in the business for a year years.

Darrin doesn’t have to rely upon shameless self-promotion within his books, because his writing speaks for itself.
This a great guide for starting a career in mortgage business, and it is very inspirational as well.
In my opinion, Darrin Seppinni and David Reed are the best writers to buy mortgage books from. These guys have integrity and go way beyond the fortune-cookie advice some other mortgage authors tout.
